You can now manually associate a picture with a line item on the Documents Items Tab of the QuoteWerks workbook. Previously, this would only happen through Etilize or through associating a picture in advance in the product database.

GoldMine version 9.0.4 released #CRM

We are pleased to announce that GoldMine Premium Edition has been improved with the latest release, GoldMine Premium Edition 9.0.4.
 
GoldMine Premium Edition 9.0.4 is now generally available for GoldMine Premium Edition Users on Maintenance and Support with Wizard Systems, to download and implement.

As with all GMPE service packs, the biggest driver for GMPE 9.0.4 is product quality. This release contains over 30 fixed issues for improved product stability and quality, as well as support for GoldMine Mobile Edition 9.0. For more information regarding this release please view the read me document that comes with it.

The GoldMine team at FrontRange is also creating an integrated GoldMine Premium Edition & GoldMine Mobile Test Drive instance! The online Test Drive system enables any client to evaluate the latest GMPE features and functionality, including Outlook Integration and CRM Dashboards.  In addition, on this single Test Drive instance clients can utilize the mobile features available in GoldMine Mobile Edition either from an integrated simulator or via their own mobile device.

Changing your CRM system? Use Inaport to migrate your #CRM data

If you are just about to embark on implementing a new CRM system, or you have a large amount of complex data to get into an existing CRM system, then the popular 'Inaport' tool can help. Inaport is the the leading tool for performing advanced imports of data into leading CRM solutions like Microsoft, Sage and GoldMine.

• In addition, Inaport can integrate with external match engines such as Paribus from QGate.

Inaport lets you update any table or combination of tables in the target CRM system. In addition, update operations can be controlled:

• Skip tables if conditions are met
• Skip fields if source is blank or target not blank
• Check if source and target field are actually different, and skip wite if no change.

Link GoldMine to your Phone system and make 10% more calls #goldmine #crm

Tapi Link for GoldMine enables GoldMine users to automatically dial their contact, and present a caller’s contact details when the telephone rings.

Once installed, Tapi Link becomes an integral part of GoldMine and enables users to dial from directly within GoldMine using a variety of methods. It will present calling party contact details over any Windows application when the phone is ringing and searches not only the main telephone number (Phone1) but any other telephone number associated with that record (Phone2, Phone3) as well as all numbers listed under the Contacts Tab. This is done automatically, which means that it doesn't matter whether your contact is calling from their business office, their mobile phone or even their home office. If you have their number listed on the GoldMine record, Tapi Link will present the information.

 

 You can select up to five fields from your caller's GoldMine record to view with an incoming call and have the GoldMine record displayed automatically before you answer the telephone, improving your response times and the levels of service you provide to your clients. Tapi Link for GoldMine is very easy to install. After running the installation program you just need to select a few options from the Tapi Link setup screen. This allows you to decide how you want information presented and how you prefer to answer your calls.

Tapi Link can also 'complete' calls for you in GoldMine, so your customer's history is always up to date. You even get a chance to type in some notes relating to the call before it's put into history.

Because Tapi Link for GoldMine communicates with your telephony device using Microsoft Tapi, you can use Tapi Link whether you are a single user, or part of a team using a larger switchboard. All you need is an approved Tapi modem or a switchboard that supports the Microsoft Tapi standard.

Incorporating Social CRM for your business

 

There are two views you should consider when embarking on social CRM for your organization. How will social CRM applications affect your relationship with your customers, and how will customers be affected by your social CRM use (in addition to how it will impact your overall customer service program)?

Let’s first start with how customers will be affected by your social CRM use. If you have not embarked on social aspects for your CRM business, keep it simple. For example, marketing can push new product or services being delivered to the market, or position events via social channels. Sales can leverage social CRM through improved peer / influencer management, as well as, better lead / prospect management through social network information a sales rep can easily acquire across various social channels.

Customer service teams can understand customer sentiments that may affect customer loyalty by listening to the social media networks, and possibly gain an understanding of customer loyalty and satisfaction levels through social surveys. Understanding internal perspectives may be easier than understanding how social channels may affect your customer’s view of your company. In order to understand how customers will be affected by your social use, put yourself in your customer’s shoes.

Think about what information you would want if you were a customer of your brand, as well as, when and how you would want to receive this information. As you grow in social media use you should analyze how, when, and where your customers retrieve social related information and change your social business accordingly. Ask yourself how often you would want to be connected, what type of information you would want to receive and how you would expect to be redirected back to the company (i.e. yourself!). Sometimes social related information can bring up additional questions, so make sure your customers understand where they can obtain further details about the related social CRM information that were provided.

Always keep in mind industry-specific needs as related to the social arena, as this will vastly effect how Social CRM is leveraged around the enterprise. And as mentioned before, don’t forget that analysis of how social CRM is utilized in the organization is needed since it’s an ever changing and constantly moving market space.

Don’t let social CRM scare you with terms and technology (especially since the social media is an ever changing, ever growing, and quite honestly, immature in regards to CRM usage). You may wish to consider social CRM as just another workflow involved in your CRM processes.
