GoldMine CRM tip – do you need to easily keep a track of time or duration spent on a project? #CRM

GoldMine has a handy ‘Timer’ function – basically a stopwatch that you can easily start and stop, to record the time in Hours, Minutes and Seconds on any activity whether it be a Phone Call, Meeting or Other Action.

These Durations can then be easily displayed or used by GoldMine’s reporting capability to report on total times spent on a project or with a customer.  Some of our customers use this feature for tracking the amount of billable time against a client.

Remember that GoldMine also has a Project Manager to manage and record Projects.  All these activities that you record can be associated with a main Project.  Then you can get total durations spent on a Project with a Customer.

To use the Timer, you may have a ‘Timer’ Button on the Tool Bar at the top of your GoldMine screen, or in GoldMine Premium Edition, you can go to the Actions Menu and then choose Timer.
